Member Representatives

The seven Member Representatives of Mercy Investment Services have worked to create the infrastructure of the program, incorporating best in class governance, social responsibility and investment practices. Each Member Representative serves on behalf of a Community of the Sisters of Mercy, including the Institute.

Sr_Anne_Curtis_cropAnne Curtis, RSM, is serving her second term as a councilor on the five-member leadership team of the Institute of the Sisters of Mercy of the Americas. As councilor, Sister Anne serves as coordinator to several Institute functional areas including justice and vocation and incorporation. Sister Anne served as a lobbyist for six years at NETWORK, a national Catholic social justice lobby in Washington, D.C., served on the boards of CLINIC, the Catholic Legal Immigration Network, Inc. and Pax Christi USA. She holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from St. John Fisher College, Rochester, NY, and a master's degree in Theology from St. Michael's College, Vermont. Sister Anne served as the justice coordinator for the Sisters of Mercy Regional Community of Rochester, NY, for several years while also holding the position of Case Manager at Melita House for pregnant women in Rochester. Prior to that, she was a missionary in Santiago, Chile, and high school theology teacher and campus minister.


Katherine Glosenger,
glosenger_edit RSM, is the project manager at Mercy Family Center in Metairie, Louisiana. Sr. Katherine served as the treasurer of the St. Louis Regional Community for 28 years prior to the regional community merging into the South Central Community. She was responsible for the investments of the St. Louis Regional Community until July 1, 2008. She serves on the Audit Committee for Salve Regina University; the Finance and Audit Committee for the Sisters of Mercy Health System; and the Finance Committee for Mount Saint Agnes Theological Center.


Sr_Nancy_Hoff_2Nancy Hoff, RSM,
is the president of the Sisters of Mercy, New York, Pennsylvania, Pacific West Community. Prior to her election, she served as president of the Sisters of Mercy, Regional Community of Buffalo. Most of her ministerial life within Mercy has been in the areas of education and administration. Sister Nancy holds a degree in Mathematics from Mt. St. Joseph College, a master’s degree in theology from Christ the King Seminary and a master’s in theological studies from Catholic Theological Union. She currently serves on the Sponsors Council of Catholic Health East and the Board of Directors of Holy Cross Hospital in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; St. James Mercy Hospital in Hornell, New York; Pittsburgh Mercy Health System and the Catholic Health System in Buffalo, New York. In addition, she serves on the Stewardship Committee for Catholic Health East.


Kelly_MaryMary Kelly, RSM, Dr. PH,
is a tenured associate professor at the University of Detroit Mercy. She holds a doctorate in public health from the University of Michigan, a master of business administration degree from Michigan State University and a bachelor of arts degree from Mercy College of Detroit. Until June 2009, Sr. Mary served as the internal coordinator for the legal and financial aspects of the reconfiguration of the Institute of the Sisters of Mercy of the Americas. Since 2000, Sr. Mary has also served as a member of Catholic Health Services, the public juridic person that oversees Trinity Health, the fourth-largest Catholic health system in the U.S.


Sheila_Megley_RSMSheila Megley, RSM, PhD,
is a member of the leadership team for the Sisters of Mercy, West Midwest Community. Prior to serving in religious leadership, she served in higher education as a president, provost, academic dean, and faculty member. She has served on several nonprofit boards in the areas of the arts, community services, and education, as well as government commissions and task forces. Sr. Sheila holds a bachelor of arts degree in mathematics, a master of arts degree in theology, a master of arts degree in English, a master of science degree in accounting, and a PhD in English literature. She also has passed the CPA exam.


sullivan_editPatricia A. Sullivan, RSM, ScD, RN, currently serves on the leadership team of the Sisters of Mercy - Northeast Community. She previously served as president of Support Our Aging Religious, Inc. (SOAR!); director of New Hampshire Catholic Charities; president of the New Hampshire Regional Community of the Sisters of Mercy; director of health care policy, Sisters of Mercy Health System; assistant/associate professor of graduate nursing administration at Boston University, St. Xavier University, and the University of Maryland. She holds master’s and doctoral degrees from Harvard University School of Public Health, and advanced certificates in policy sciences from the University of Maryland, and bioethics from Georgetown University’s Kennedy Institute of Bioethics. Sr. Patricia has published in professional journals of nursing and is co-author, with Timothy Brown, of Setting Hearts on Fire, A Spirituality for Leaders.
