Proxy Voting

As a shareholder in corporations, Mercy Investment Services has an active voice. One way to address the Direction Statement and Critical Concerns of the Sisters of Mercy is through proxy voting. When a corporation distributes the shareholder resolutions to be voted on at its annual meeting, Mercy Investment Services will determine how it will vote on these issues. Mercy Iinvestment Services has chosen RiskMetrics as its proxy voting partner. In this capacity, RiskMetrics will work with the following proxy voting guidelines to vote our proxies on issues of concern in the organizations in which we are shareholders.
